Coldest night of the year is a yearly event that takes place in many communities across Canada. The event aims to raise money for charities serving people experiencing homelessness, hurt, and hunger, as well as bringing societal awareness to this issues.

Not one of us is immune to the impact of our economic highs and lows and we could, at one time or another, find ourselves in a situation of needing the services that the CNOY event aims to help fund.

This year we are joining with a few student clubs at post-secondary institutions in our area – Georgian/Lakehead Student Christian Fellowship and Lakehead University Christian Group. Together, we have put together a team for CNOY, as we want to do our part in helping raising funds for our designated local charity, Youth Haven.

Starting at 9pm on February 20th, we will be posting pictures and updates to our social media account as we do our walk for the event. We want to encourage you to follow us on our social media accounts – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #cnoy21

If you would like to sponsor our team, you can make a donation through the CNOY website. If you would like to get involved and join our team for Saturday February 20, you can register here.
